The conference will bring together a range of stakeholders working in the housing and homelessness sectors including politicians, national representative bodies and charities. Confirmed speakers include Lord Bob Kerslake; Shadow Secretary of State for Housing John Healey MP; Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee member, Bob Blackman MP, Crisis Chief Executive, Jon Sparkes and Shelter Chief Executive, Polly Neate.
Matt Downie, Director of Policy and External Affairs for Crisis will preview details of the charity’s Plan to End Homelessness, the findings of a six-month research and consultation exercise seeking to identify practical solutions to the growth of homelessness. The conference will explore the components of a charter for housing associations following on from the Crisis Plan.
