Hightown Housing AssociationHightown provides excellent homes and support across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Bedfordshire. We are a charitable housing association making a positive difference to thousands of lives every year.

We do this by building hundreds of much needed new affordable homes, managing our existing homes  and providing care and supported housing services to a wide range of people. With an annual turnover of £60 million, we have over 5,000 homes and employ over 600 staff. Our development programme will deliver around 1,200 new affordable homes over the next three years. We believe that everyone should have the home and support that they need.

The original Hightown Housing Association was formed in 1968, operating mainly in the Hemel Hempstead area. It grew by merger with housing associations operating in St. Albans and west Hertfordshire and the name was changed, firstly, to Hightown Praetorian  and then to Hightown Praetorian and Churches Housing Association. The organisation reverted to its original shorter name, Hightown Housing Association Ltd, in June 2015.
